Kurin & Sean’s Mountain Engagement Session

There’s something extra special about photographing a couple who is local to our little corner of Idaho. We had the best time getting to know Kurin and Sean during their engagement session, and now we’re even more excited because their wedding day is finally here!

For their engagement pictures, we headed to the top of one of our absolute favorite mountain spots. The views were beautiful, but one of our favorite parts of the evening was simply getting to spend time with these two and watch their connection unfold in front of our cameras.

And can we talk about their color palette?! They absolutely nailed it. The greens and rust tones beginning to emerge in the foliage were the perfect backdrop for their session. There’s something about this early hint of fall in the mountains that makes everything feel a little more magical, and Kurin and Sean’s outfits complemented the landscape so beautifully.

We love photographing couples in places that feel like them, and getting to take Kurin and Sean somewhere that showcases the mountains we love so much made this session even more meaningful. From the gorgeous scenery to the quiet moments between the two of them, their engagement session felt like such a perfect reflection of their love and the beautiful Idaho setting they get to call home.

We are so thankful that these two trusted us to capture this season of their story—and now we only have to wait one more day to celebrate them all over again!
