A Beautiful Lakeside Wedding

There is something so special about a wedding day that is intentionally centered around the people you love most—and for Pam and Reny, their beautiful McCall wedding was exactly that. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they gathered to begin their marriage in one of the most beautiful places in Idaho.

Their day began with a first look in Ponderosa State Park, where we discovered the most amazing private grove of aspens. The towering trees created the sweetest, most intimate setting for the two of them to see each other for the first time. It was a beautiful day in McCall, and the smoke cleared enough to reveal the breathtaking mountains surrounding the area. It felt like the perfect Idaho backdrop for the beginning of their wedding day.

From there, we headed into downtown McCall and over to Brown’s Park, right along the lake. With the water, mountains, and beautiful scenery surrounding them, it was such a meaningful place for Pam and Reny to exchange their vows and begin this next chapter together.

One of our favorite parts of their ceremony was the way their pastor brought Christ to the forefront of their marriage. Watching a couple take this step together with a foundation in Christ is something that is truly beautiful to us. There are so many things we could wish for a couple beginning their life together, but we can’t think of anything more important than building their marriage on Jesus.

Rather than having a traditional plated dinner followed by dancing and an evening of festivities, Pam and Reny chose to make their celebration a little different—and it was absolutely wonderful. They brought in the incredible Amy from Amy’s Whole Food Creations, who created the most beautiful and delectable spread of appetizers. Everything was not only gorgeous but incredibly delicious, and it made for such a fun and relaxed way to celebrate with their family and friends.

From the quiet sweetness of their first look beneath the aspens to the beauty of their lakeside ceremony and the joy of celebrating around a table with the people they love, Pam and Reny’s wedding day was filled with so many meaningful moments.

We are so thankful we had the opportunity to be part of Pam and Reny’s special day and to witness the beginning of their marriage. McCall provided the most beautiful backdrop, but what made the day truly special was the love surrounding them—and the foundation they chose to build their marriage upon.
