A Rainy, Romantic Stanley, Idaho Wedding

There are few places more breathtaking to get married than Stanley, Idaho. With the dramatic Sawtooth Mountains rising behind them, Mandy and Harpreet celebrated their marriage surrounded by their closest friends and family. Their wedding was intimate, relaxed, and incredibly personal—much like the two of them. Mandy and Harpreet are some of the sweetest, kindest, and most genuinely laid-back people, and it was so special to watch them begin this new chapter surrounded by the people they love most.

The mountains weren’t the only thing making a statement that day. Idaho weather had some plans of its own, bringing plenty of rain and a storm that rolled in unexpectedly. Thankfully, we were able to get a large portion of Mandy and Harpreet’s portraits taken before the ceremony, giving us beautiful time together with the Sawtooths as their backdrop before the weather changed. The dramatic landscape and changing skies made for some truly beautiful photographs, and we loved being able to capture them simply enjoying each other in such an incredible place.

Their celebration was filled with thoughtful little touches, including little gifts waiting for each of their guests at the reception. It was a sweet reflection of how intentional they were about making the people closest to them feel loved and appreciated. And rather than having a traditional DJ and reception dancing, Mandy and Harpreet chose something a little more fun and unexpected—they hired a line dancing instructor! Watching their friends and family learn the dances, laugh together, and join in the celebration made for such a memorable evening.

Even with the rain and unpredictable weather, Mandy and Harpreet’s wedding day was absolutely beautiful. At the end of the day, it wasn’t about everything going perfectly—it was about being together, celebrating their marriage, and making memories with the people they love. And with the Sawtooth Mountains surrounding them, there couldn’t have been a more beautiful place for their beginning.
