A Warm March Evening in Cascade

There are some sessions that just feel easy from the very beginning, and our time with Hannah and Rhett was exactly that. We met up on a beautiful March evening that somehow felt more like early summer—warm, calm, and full of that golden light we always hope for. While we had originally imagined a snowy backdrop, the lack of snow didn’t take away from the magic of the night one bit. Instead, it gave us the chance to wander along the river and around Cascade Lake, soaking in a peaceful, glowing sunset that couldn’t have been more perfect.

Hannah and Rhett have such a natural connection, the kind that doesn’t need much direction. From the way they laughed together to the quiet, in-between moments, it was so clear how much they adore one another. Sessions like this remind us why we love what we do—getting to slow down and truly know our couples before the wedding day is such a gift, and these two made that so easy.

We’re already counting down the days until their wedding in McCall this May. Getting to celebrate them on the shores of Payette Lake is going to be incredibly special, and if their engagement session was any glimpse into what’s ahead, it’s going to be a day full of joy, beauty, and so much love.
