Late November in McCall always feels a little magical. The crowds are gone, the mountains feel quieter, and the lake takes on this soft, moody glow that you just don’t get in the summer. Marie and Brad’s wedding day fell right into that sweet spot — chilly air, shifting clouds, pockets of sunshine, and views that stopped everyone in their tracks.

One of the things we love most about Shore Lodge is how beautifully it holds space for days when the weather keeps you guessing. Guests stayed warm and comfortable inside while still being surrounded by panoramic views of Payette Lake and the mountains beyond. Even with a crisp breeze outside, the day felt relaxed, inviting, and timeless.

From the very beginning, it was clear that Marie and Brad are deeply grounded together. Their first look was one of those moments that reminds us why we love what we do. When Brad turned around and saw Marie for the first time, his reaction said everything — joy, awe, and a kind of steady certainty that felt incredibly genuine. It was quiet and unhurried, and we loved how fully present they were with one another. During their first look, they shared their vows privately, just the two of them.
