A Late September Wedding at a Private Residance

Karma and Jason’s wedding day was everything we love about late September in Idaho — clear skies, sunshine, and that perfect balance where it’s not too hot and not too cold. It was one of those days that just felt right from beginning to end.

We’ve loved getting to know Karma and Jason over the past year. Their engagement session took us deep into the Idaho backcountry — a private piece of land that felt like the middle of nowhere — and it was absolutely stunning. You can see that story [here]. When we arrived for their wedding, it felt like such a gift to see their vision come to life in a place that was all their own, surrounded by the people who love them most.

Their property was a dream to photograph. It had everything we look for in a great venue: beautiful light, natural textures, and that peaceful sense of space that makes everything feel relaxed and real. We honestly found ourselves wishing we could photograph there more often.

Sierra and her team at Little Bird Events did such a lovely job getting everything ready. The day flowed beautifully, and the atmosphere was full of joy and anticipation. Friends and family filled every corner, celebrating not just a marriage but the blending of two families into one. It was a day full of laughter, tears, and love that felt deeply rooted.

It was such an honor to document this day — a reflection of the beauty that happens when two lives, two stories, and two families come together under God’s goodness.
