Brundage Mountain Wedding with a Scenic Reception at Shore Lodge

Some wedding days leave you completely in awe, and Megan and Matt’s day was one of those. They chose two of the most iconic venues in Valley County for their celebration, and it could not have been more perfect.

The morning began at Brundage Mountain, where guests rode the ski lift up to the summit for the ceremony. There is something magical about saying your vows on top of the world with sweeping mountain views in every direction. Nature did throw a little surprise into the mix when a thunderstorm rolled through and briefly shut down the lift. The delay only made the moment more memorable. When the skies finally cleared, dramatic clouds hung over the peaks and created an epic backdrop as Megan and Matt promised forever to each other.

After the ceremony, we made our way down the mountain to Shore Lodge for the reception. If Brundage offers adventure, Shore Lodge brings elegance and charm. The lakeside setting was stunning, and we could not resist heading out to the docks for portraits. With the glassy water and soft evening light, it was pure magic.

One detail that really stood out to us was how much Megan and Matt wove personal touches into their day. During their engagement session last winter, we photographed them with their beloved dog, Debo. Sadly, Debo could not be there for the wedding, but Megan found the sweetest way to include him. She gave Matt cufflinks engraved with Debo’s face. It was such a heartfelt gesture and a reminder of the love and life they share together.

Megan and Matt, you two are some of the kindest, most genuine souls, and it was an honor to capture your day. From the mountain top to the lakeshore, every moment was filled with beauty, joy, and so much love.
