Engagement Session at the Base of the Lost River Range

We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning backdrop, or a kinder couple, for this engagement session with Karma and Jason. We drove about six hours to reach their amazing piece of property nestled at the base of Idaho’s Lost River Range, near the towering Mount Borah, the state’s highest peak. Truly off the beaten path, their land feels like a hidden gem, with breathtaking views in every direction.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such heartfelt hospitality. Karma even had a deluxe charcuterie board waiting for us (which, of course, we happily enjoyed between photos!). It’s these little touches that speak volumes about who they are; thoughtful, warm, and intentional.

Throughout the evening, we found ourselves chasing storm clouds and dramatic skies as the weather kept us on our toes. But even with the storms rolling in and out, the night felt magical. It was so full of laughter, quiet moments, and the kind of connection that makes us even more excited to photograph their wedding.
