A Late Summer Engagement Session in the Mountains of Idaho

As you can see these two were naturals in front of the camera! Instantly we knew it was going to be an amazing time. This whole session just made us all the more excited for their wedding at Tamarack Resort next summer! The funny thing to us was that Lexi and Ethan both said that they feel like they are awkward in photos. But we didn’t see any awkwardness!

That is the important thing about hiring a photographer that knows how to guide and move you through poses in a way that makes you feel and look relaxed. We want pictures to look like they happened organically and that they don’t feel stiff or uncomfortable. We also want our couples to have opportunity to express their uniqueness within the poses that we place them in.

Lexi + Ethan! Thank you both so much for making to trip up to visit us and explore our favorite area in the mountains. You both are gems and we are feel so honored to document not only your engagement session but also your wedding!! If our time together was just a hint of the fun we will have next summer, we cannot wait!!
