A Lovely Late Summer Wedding at The Cottage at Riverbend

It was the most perfect setting. Underneath the shade of beautiful, large trees rooted by the riverside. All of their friends and family gathered and waited to watch two people that they love, commit the rest of their lives together. The light trickled in, playing peek-a-boo in the leaves. Gregg stood at the end of the aisle waiting for his bride. As she walked towards him, holding on to her father’s arm, you could see the emotion on their faces. After all the months of planning and dreaming, the moment was here. One of the most important moments of their lives. The moment that they would become husband and wife.

This was our first time photographing at The Cottage at Riverbend and we can’t wait until the next time! This venue is perfect for weddings, and from a photography perspective, the lighting is amazing. As wedding photographers we swoon over huge shade trees. Especially in August! The fact that guests didn’t have to sit in the sweltering heat during the ceremony is such a gift. This wedding venue is a tucked away hidden gem.
