A Lovely, June Wedding near Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho

The day they had waited for, for what had seemed like an eternity, was finally here. Their friends and family had gathered. Everything was in place. He stood waiting for his bride to walk down the aisle. The sun was shining. Big, warm raindrops fell slowly from the sky. The prettiest summer rain you could imagine. Almost seemingly impossible with the radiance of the sun shining down. Then he saw her. Holding on to her father’s arm. Walking towards him. She was His bride. His Beloved. The cleansing rain dropping like diamonds. This moment was one he would never forget.

Most couples do not like the idea of rain on their wedding day. But this rain was different. It was like a cleansing rain from heaven. There were many special moments in these two’s ceremony but one stands out as extra special. Each of Bethany’s bridesmaids read a Bible verse at the beginning of the ceremony. When Anna read her verse from Ephesians chapter five we couldn’t help but thank the Lord for the cleansing water He had sprinkled this beautiful marriage with.

 _²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, ²⁶ that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, ²⁷ so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

Bethany + Tyler, your wedding was such a privilege to be a part of! Your love for Jesus was so apparent as you made Him first and foremost on your wedding day! We know that He will use you both in such magnificent ways as you bring Him glory and honor through your relationship. We are cheering you on as you seek to pursue Him as husband and wife! Keep investing in one another as you move through different seasons of life. You will never regret the time spent together. We love you guys! Hope you are having an incredible time in Costa Rica!
