What an absolute honor and privilege it was to photograph Bri and Paul’s wedding!! These two are extra special to us. Of course, all our Cimbalik Couples are special but this one is extra special because they are family! Paul is Laura’s “little” brother. A term she loves to say because she is the only one that has this claim! No one else can call him little. 😉  We couldn’t be happier to have been able to fly across the country to celebrate with them in Illinois and welcome Bri into our family! The entire Hubbard family (Laura’s the oldest of six kids!) made the journey and it was so wonderful to all be together again! Our kiddos thought that the plane ride was the coolest thing ever. Even though traveling with three young kids isn’t for the faint of heart it was a wonderful trip!

It was a blustery day that had the potential to dampen spirits but everyone’s smiles shined brighter than the sun ever could. Sometimes things don’t go as you plan.  Actually, do they ever? 🙂  All brides wish for beautiful weather and warm sunshine but that doesn’t always happen. But it’s how you accept whatever the weather, in this case blows at you, that really makes your day unique and special. If all weddings had perfect weather where would the fun and diversity be in that?!  Everyone was troopers and made the best of whatever the weather blew at us! In fact, the chilly weather just gave us an excuse to hold on tighter to the ones we love. And we think that is a beautiful thing!

Not only did we get to photograph the wedding we also were the super proud, doting parents of two junior groomsmen and the cutest little flower girl we think ever walked down an isle. We may be a tiny bit biased but that’s okay! It’s our reward for all those diapers we changed. 😉 We have been to so many receptions over the year but this one we actually got to be apart of and it was so fun! Pretty sure Laura hardly left the dance floor and even pulled Rob out for a couple dances. The party lasted late into the night and we just had the best time!

Paul and Bri! Where do we begin?! Thank you for allowing us to photograph your first day as husband and wife! We love the times we get to spend together and can’t wait to celebrate again after Christmas! 🙂 We wish you the very best as you begin your lives together as a married couple! So many exciting adventures await you and we can’t wait to see where the Lord leads you both!
