Ashley + John // The Shore Lodge // McCall, Idaho

 

We haven’t ever had the opportunity to photograph a morning wedding before, but this Shore Lodge wedding in McCall, Idaho was so lovely and worth the early wake-up! Yes, we did have our alarms go off at 4:15 but that allowed for us to do a first look at sunrise and even though it was a little drizzly it was so beautiful!! We just love the idea of having a brunch for your reception!! Breakfast foods at our house are a favorite and normally we have a breakfast themed dinner at least once a week! So we were in heaven with custom-made omelets, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy and did we mention, BACON!? 🙂

This Fall has been so exquisite and we are so thankful that those vibrant, little leaves hung on so tight and long to last into the end of October! Idaho is beautiful all year round but it is extra special when all the golden colors are on display! Once again, the Shore Lodge offered such a lovely space to celebrate a commitment of love to one another. With panoramic views of the lake, it really showcases the big draw of what the little town of McCall has to offer. We are so grateful to have photographed so many beautiful McCall weddings this year and are so excited for what is to come in 2019!

Ashley and John, we had the best time with you both on Saturday! Our cheeks still hurt from smiling, like the whole day!! Thank you so much for allowing us to be apart of your beautiful day in such a special way. Documenting your love and the fun you have together was so inspiring!
