He stood up in the front. In front of over a hundred people. His heart was racing. They had waited nine years for this moment. This moment when they would commit to be partners forever. To be husband and wife. He waited with anticipation. After what seemed like forever, the doors swung open and there she stood. His beautiful bride. His soon-to-be wife! Her smile lit up the whole room! As her dad escorted her closer to her groom, the emotions intensified. When they reached the end of the isle and her dad placed his daughter’s hand in his, they held hands and vowed to love, honor and cherish each other for as long as they live.

When we first met Hailee and Dakota during their engagement session, we were on top of a mountain close to where we live. We immediately loved them! It was so evident that they loved each other so much. Not only are they SO MUCH FUN,they are also so kind and genuine. That definitely transferred over into their wedding! Fun was happening all day long! When the formalities were over and the DJ turned up the music the FUN began! They had choreographed several dances and we especially loved the Mother/Daughter dance! SO much fun!

We can’t let this blog post go by without mentioning some of the stellar vendor team! Roxanne from Bliss Events did such a beautiful job orchestrating this gorgeous wedding! She took such great care of all the details and is a pleasure to work with! We also, had the pleasure of working with Boise Wedding Films who are also a husband and wife video team based in Idaho. Working with them was such a delight and we hope to have many weddings in the future! We are suckers for hubby/wife teams! 😉 We have listed the entire vendor team below!!

Water’s Edge Event Center is just a hop, skip and a jump from the beautiful Boise River. We love sneaking our couples over there during the beautiful glow of sunset to take their first images as husband and wife! It’s so dreamy! We may have even danced right up to the bride and groom on the dance floor and kidnapped them in order to make it in time for sunset. 🙂
