Saturday, two of the most genuine, kind and loving people made a commitment to walk through this life together, hand in hand and heart to heart. It was such a beautiful, sweet and FUN day!! These two assembled an amazing team to make sure their day went off without a hitch. Blackhawk On The River is our FAVORITE venue for any couple planning a McCall wedding!! It’s seriously gorgeous! Kit with McCall Weddings did a great job with all the details on this special wedding.

We love how this couple honored Mimi’s Japanese heritage by the symbolic tradition of 1000 paper cranes. “The red-crowned crane is native to Japan and often appears in Japanese art. Cranes are believed to mate for life and are a symbol of long life, happiness and good luck. These are all perfect sentiments for a wedding! Those who make 1,000 cranes show extreme patience, fortitude and commitment – also important qualities in a successful marriage! Towards the end of the night we loved how the couple incorporated their sparklers in a unique way. They had a sparkler dance after sunset and danced to Katy Perry’s song, “Firework”. It was magical! We suggest this for couples who want to do something unique, different and a ton of fun!
