Jenni + Phil // McCall, Idaho // Ponderosa State Park

Ponderosa State Park is nestled in some magnificent ponderosa’s and sits right on Payette Lake. It provides such a beautiful place to say “I Do”.  Jenni opted to go with a beautiful white arbor for her ceremony site from McCall Party Rentals. The way the white arbor and white chairs stood out in the wooded forest was stunning.  Incahoots catered the event and it was so delicious! We have some pretty awesome local catering options up here in the McCall area and we would definitely recommend checking out Incahoots!!

Jenni and Phil live out of town and we weren’t able to do an engagement shoot early on. We always encourage our bride and groom to do engagement pictures with us before their wedding even if they don’t have the need for them. It is super helpful to get a practice run in before the wedding! We ended up doing Jenni and Phil’s engagement session the night before their wedding, right after their rehearsal dinner. The shoot was lots of fun and even though the mosquitoes were pretty bad it allowed us the opportunity to get to know each other a little better and for them to get comfortable in front of the camera.

We met Jenni’s family back in 2015 when we shot her sister Jodi’s wedding up at Brundage in McCall, Idaho. This family is such fun! They will keep you laughing that’s for sure! It was so great to be reunited with them again! We had such a great time with everyone at this wedding! It was a beautiful day with beautiful people! Thank you both for allowing us to capture your lovely day. We wish you the very best as you start your marriage together.
