Some wedding days carry a theme so perfectly that it feels like it was written just for the couple. For Aly and Dustin, it was Love’s story. Their day was filled with joy, laughter, and tenderness, and with Dustin’s last name being Love, everything carried an even deeper meaning.

Their journey began in a quiet place, a library. Dustin noticed Aly and took a chance to ask her out, and from that small moment of courage grew a relationship that led them to this joyful September day on the shores of Payette Lake.

We woke that morning under a veil of wildfire smoke. By the evening, a soft breeze had carried it away, and we were gifted with beautiful mountain views. It felt almost symbolic, a reminder that beauty often shines brightest after challenges.

One of our favorite moments came just before Aly and Dustin’s first dance. Chris from Wildfire DJ paused the music to share their love story from each of their perspectives. The room filled with laughter, tears, and a tangible sense of closeness. From there, the celebration continued with music that kept the dance floor alive well into the night.

We were also grateful to work with Sierra and her team from Little Bird Events, who made the day not only look stunning but also flow effortlessly. The florals from Let Flowers Live were so fun to photograph! They were vibrant, fresh, and perfectly suited for the mountain setting. The ladies from Braid Lounge Boise and Dani Smith did a beautiful job getting Aly ready for the day, helping her glow with confidence and joy.

What struck us most was Aly and Dustin’s kindness. They went out of their way to thank every vendor, treating us not as hired help but as friends who were part of their story. That kind of gratitude leaves a lasting impression, and it is one of the reasons this wedding will always stand out to us.
