A Lovely, Warm October Heart Rock Ranch Wedding

A wedding day on it’s own is a pretty significant day but you know your day is going to be extra special when it starts off with a solar eclipse! The first picture may look like a shot of the moon, and you would be right, but that is in fact our sun being covered by the moon. We were so grateful for the bit of cloud cover that made photographing it much easier. As photographers, we look at light differently than we used to, and differently than most people do. It was such an interesting light when we reached as full of coverage as we got in Idaho. It was like dusk, but it was still a warm light with muted contrast. Truly amazing to witness.

Heidi and Shane’s wedding was no less spectacular! We absolutely loved how Heidi embraced the rich, bold and warm fall colors into her design. Courtney, with Posies Floral Design, did an amazing job splashing fall over everything with her floral design. It perfectly blended with the amazing fall colors already at the venue. We love that bold colors are making a comeback in wedding design!

We need to take a minute and comment on the hidden gem that this venue was! Heart Rock Ranch was such an amazing venue. It’s definitely a place to check out if you are wanting to get married in the Sun Valley area. We can’t wait for our next Heart Rock Ranch wedding!!

Heidi and Shane! Where do we even begin!? You two have been such a joy to get to know. You both have such genuine and kind hearts.
