Allie and James’ beautiful Shore Lodge wedding took place on a gorgeous October day. That in and of itself is such a blessing as the weather in October in Idaho can be unpredictable. Their day held so many beautiful moments, emotions and fun. It was a classy affair with black ties and black dresses for the bridesmaids. Our highlight was getting to steal them away during sunset and capture some beautiful lake shots and just all take a few deep breathes as we all reflected on how perfect the day had been!

They chose to see each other for a first look and Allie told us later how happy she was that they did. She said that it helped calm her nerves so much and allowed her to be more prepared for that aisle moment. That is a definite perk for doing a first look. And in their case it allowed us to sneak away to another location and save the dock pictures at Shore Lodge for when it photographs best, which is sunset!
