There were so many things that made this day so wonderful! One of them being the beautiful venue, The Vintage Rose. It was our first time photographing a wedding there and we had so much exploring it with Katja and Nic! It offers it all! On site getting ready spaces, a beautiful ceremony site, a lovely reception space, and lots of other versatility. The landscaping is also really beautiful. The owners have done a great job creating this beautiful wedding venue!

Another reason we loved this day so much was for obvious reasons. Katja and Nic are SO fun! Like really fun! They are also incredibly kind! It was such a joy to photograph their beautiful wedding surrounded by all their family and friends. Side note, they have a ton of friends! It must be a Idaho Vandals thing because we have seen this before. 😉 We always consider it such a privilege to meet our couples closet friends and it’s always so special when their friends welcome us with open arms like they did this past Saturday. We never want to take that for granted!

Katja and Nic shared such a meaningful first look. It was a tear jerker for sure! We loved that they got to share in that together and it left them all kinds of time to party after their ceremony!

Katja and Nic!! Can you believe it?! You two sealed the deal! We are so incredibly happy for you as you begin this next, beautiful chapter of marriage! It’s such an adventure and it’s obvious you guys are ready for it! Thank you so much for trusting us to capture your day! It was an immense honor!
