Oh my goodness! What an adventure Idaho weather had in store for us during this engagement session!! We started out the session with sunny skies, it was beautiful! We noticed a cloud cover started forming although, we weren’t worried! In fact, we get really excited when there is a light cloud cover. Clouds often make for beautiful, soft, diffused light. When we got to our epic overlook we definitely noticed clouds were getting super dark and it looked like a big storm was moving in. We just kept shooting as quickly as possible.

We were just about to end our session and got to the final location when the darkest clouds formed and were booking it across the sky! After a couple pictures, we raised up a white flag and decided it was time to end our session. We wanted to make sure we all were able to get back down the mountain safely!

Never have we been more thankful for our posing flow that we have perfected over the years. Taylor and Tyler completely bypassed any awkwardness that typically takes place in the first few minutes. This allowed us to get soooo many images even though their session got cut a bit short. Our goal is to make posing fun and easy! We teach our couples all our tricks and tips and then come wedding day, they are pros!!
