Sometimes the most beautiful things in life come after the really hard and sometimes painful things. This whole year our hearts have gone out to our sweet couples who have had to postpone, cancel or replan their weddings due to COVID-19. None of these options have been easy decisions.

Erika and Faruk had intended on having their wedding at Brundage in McCall, Idaho. But COVID had different plans, forcing them to move their dream wedding to be celebrated at family’s property out in Wilder. But it was the most beautiful day and we can’t wait to share it with you!

So many things about their wedding changed but the most important things stay the same. Love and relationships. The love between the couple, their family and friends seemed to be intensified. It was so beautiful to see everyone rally to give Erika and Faruk the most beautiful wedding. Not only was it beautiful, it was incredibly meaningful.

Another sweet component of the day was when we took portraits at the Leaning Barn Flower Farm, where the beautiful wedding bouquets were grown and created. The owner Linda, was Erika’s preschool teacher! How sweet is that? The farm provided such a perfect location for taking gorgeous pictures of the couple, bridal party and family.

Erika + Faruk, where do we even begin?! Thank you for allowing us to photograph your beautiful wedding day! We know it was different than what you originally planned but it was so gorgeous! You two have such beautiful days ahead with each other! We are so happy for you to start the adventure of marriage!
