They looked deeply into each others eyes. So much love. Tears welled up as they vowed their love to one another. Vows that held so much meaning, love, commitment and sprinkled with a little bit of humor. It was such a beautiful thing to witness.
This day did not come without some pretty difficult challenges. Cortney and Clayton originally planned on having their wedding take place on the shores of Hawaii. When COVID spoiled those plans they began to plan their McCall wedding at Ponderosa State Park. When we originally chatted with them on FaceTime they said that they were going to get married regardless of what COVID threw at them. Then fast-forward to just a week before their big day, one of Idaho’s main highways, that a lot of friends and family would use to come to McCall, was shut down do to a massive rockslide.
But even in the midst of all this, they both remained so positive and optimistic. And honestly it’s something that you just crave to be around. Their joy is infectious. We enjoyed every minute with them and had such a fun time exploring through McCall’s beautiful forested land in Ponderosa State Park during their portrait time.
Cortney and Clayton, words cannot express how grateful we are to know you and to have had such a special part in capturing your beautiful day that was so full of love. Thank you so much for allowing us a front row seat! We wish you the absolute best as you start this next chapter and can’t wait to see where the Lord leads you and your family!
So Much Love!
