Ten years ago she walked down the aisle. Arm tightly linked to her dad. At the end of the aisle he stood, gazing lovingly into her eyes. Her smile met his and in that moment she knew that she was looking into the love that she would cherish for all of their lives. This was her best friend. Her almost-husband. The man she would walk life hand in hand with. Through good times and hard times. Through the sad and the happy.

In ten years they had walked through quite a bit of life. They started a business, bought a house, welcomed three sweet kiddos into their family, and journeyed to Uganda. There have been highs and there have been lows. But there has also been love. A love that has deepened and continued to evolve.

We have always believed that marriage deserves to be celebrated, not only on the wedding day but on all the days that follow, because it is not easy. Marriage takes work. It takes perseverance. It takes commitment. Because of this, we think that celebrating the journey is such a rewarding gift.

We have been planning on doing a vow renewal for years. Not because we don’t think our vows from our wedding will stick. Not because we were almost giving up. But because we wanted to show our children that marriage is important and deserves celebration. We want our kids to see that their Mommy and Daddy will continue to put each other first. That we continue to choose each other.

We are so grateful for the group of friends and family that helped make this a beautiful reality! Laura’s sister painted our beautiful invitation suite for our kids. She also helped SO MUCH behind the scenes on the day of, to help bring all the moving parts together. Out sweet friend, Annie from Let It Shine Photography, captured the day perfectly. We are so grateful to know you, Annie! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing in this with us! Kayla from Idaho Stylists did my hair and makeup and made me feel beautiful. Also, our wonderful friend, Christina, from Southfork Flower Farm, for the gorgeous flowers and bouquet! We are so grateful to know such amazing vendors in the wedding industry who have become such dear friends.
