This gorgeous Shore Lodge wedding was the last one of our 2016 wedding season. What a grand finale it was! Aubry had such a beautiful vision for her wedding day and we were so lucky to be the ones to capture it! Shore Lodge is such an iconic place in McCall, Idaho. It holds countless cherished memories for so many that have stayed here. Any bride looking for a venue that exudes rustic elegance, look no further! Aubry compiled a wonderful team of wedding vendors. I have to say that Kara from Just So. Event Floral, HIT. IT. OUT. OF. THE. PARK!! Floral artistry is such an important part of your wedding day! Yes, they may seem expensive. Yes, they may not last for forever but that’s what makes flowers beautiful. It’s a privilege to witness the beauty of their open blooms for the short time that they are everything that they were created to be. I think that’s why they are one of my favorite details to capture on a wedding day. Somehow we can preserve their short, delicate life forever in photographs. I think on a list of fears a bride might have for her wedding day would be…rain. Many brides cringe at the damage rain could cause to their perfect wedding day. Well, it started raining right during Aubry and Joe’s first look. It could have ruined her day but Aubry was so great! She had allowed so much cushion in her wedding timeline that we were able to take a little bit of time to chill and wait for the storm to pass. We ended up having ample portrait time and the girls were even able to go back and freshen up before the the wedding ceremony. A cushioned timeline and a positive outlook will solve most of the day’s problems and possible-stresses. Aubry and Joe.
